To help you understand the Year 1 and Year 2 English Curriculum and the way it’s links to science and humanities we have available WiNC 1 for Year 1 and WiNC 2 for Year 2.These literacy sketch books help your child record their responses using both writing and drawing. It contains all those high frequency words, phonic spelling patterns, and word bank.

There are a range of engaging reading books organised into themes, that encourage reading to learn. It also invites appropriate writing responses to be recorded in their WiNC books. Themes of fiction and non-fiction books range from Pets and Senses, for Year 1 and Transport and Habitats for Year 2.
In addition there are some parent home support books for phonics in Year 1 and SAT practice booklets for Year 2.
