Reading Stars Phonics Phase 2 Pack contains a complete set of reading books to support the first stage of a phonics programme where children are actually able to start reading. In total there are 23 books.

It contains both fiction and non-fiction titles, on a range of topics and text types. These books corresponds to Phase 2 of Letters and Sounds, the UK Government’s synthetic phonics programme, but can be used for phonics reading practice to support any phonics programme. The words are all decodable which means they are made up of phonics that children can put together to decode the word.
